An Afghan singer Mozhdah Jamalzadah sings about brave people of her homeland

Mozhdah Jamalzadah is an Afghan-Canadian singer who lives in Vancouver, Canada. Her song Dokhtare Afghan (Afghan Girl) "was an instant hit on the Afghan TV stations and airwaves.

It brought back the stories of strong Afghan heroines to the homes of many of the Afghans and sparked an interest amongst young Afghan women.

It also earned Mozdah many nominations and awards at the Afghan and International TV and radio stations" (Source: wikipedia).

She's the first Afghani woman to produce and host her own talk show and cover sensitive subjects impacting Afghani women and children.
